| Breanna's American Odyssey Trip, 2006 |
| Breanna packed her bags and headed out West for the adventure of a lifetime! |
| She is traveling with a group of college and high school students as they cross 23 states in 30 days. Leading the trip is Mr. Barlow, Breanna's science teacher who is also the director of American Odyssey. |
| American Odyssey motto: The journey is the destination. |
| Breanna left North Carolina on June 17th and will not return until July 16th. |
| Just about everything they need is packed into this neatly organized trailer. |
| The entourage for this years' Odyssey includes 3 chaperons, 7 college students and 2 high school students. |
| Before leaving, Mr. Barlow led the group in a brief prayer. |
| Derek finally had to push Mr. Barlow into the fan so that he would stop talking and start driving! |
| Breanna gave everyone hugs goodbye, including her boyfriend Josh, and then loaded into the van. For some strange reason, Michele felt compelled to cry. |
| When Breanna gets back from her trip on July 16th, she will have tons of pictures from her trek across America. We'll post many of those photos here for everyone to see. |
